Top-Rated Tree Removal & Trimming Services in Poquoson City, VA

I recently hired Anderson's Stump Grinding and had the pleasure of working with Scott. The service was exceptional from start to finish. Scott was professional, punctual, and highly skilled. He efficiently removed several stumps from my yard, including some difficult ones, and left the area immaculate. His attention to detail and clear communication made the entire process smooth and stress-free. The pricing was also very fair for the quality of work provided. I highly recommend Scott and Anderson's Stump Grinding for anyone needing stump removal services. Will definitely use them again!

Bobby and his crew did a phenomenal job removing four trees that endangered my house. It was an experience watching Brandon climb up 60’ in the air and cut the branches, all while swaying in the wind. Everything was cleaned up when the work was done as well. I got the referral from one neighbor and passed his contact info on to two other friends. I appreciate the amazing work and the very reasonable price.

I have several mature, overgrown trees on my property and knew it was time to trim them back when a large branch fell down. I searched around and decided to try Poquoson Tree Service after reading their other good reviews. Jim (the owner) came out quickly and walked my property to give me a quote and explain everything he could do. The quote was extremely reasonable and he even included free removal of an overgrown Holly tree as a veteran's discount! He and the crew came out that week as soon as weather allowed and did a wonderful job! They checked with me every step of the way to ensure they weren't taking off too much or too little. Jim's communication with me from start to finish of the project was wonderful. My house looks completely different in a good way! I can't recommend this company enough!

5/19/22- UPDATE: We had to stop using this company because they stopped carrying workers comp. Be aware if a contractor is hurt on your property without this coverage, they can sue you.

They did a great job! I didn't know what I wanted to do with my front yard, so I followed the recommendations provided. They completed the job quickly, on time, they were professional throughout the entire project, and were also competitive on pricing! Can't go wrong! You can tell he really knows what he's doing.

Justin did a great job. Very professional and very thorough. My job turned out better than I expected. I highly recommend “The Stump Guy”.

Dan got back to us quickly and gave us a very reasonable price to cut down our tree! Two days later the tree was gone and my husband and I couldn't have been happier with the experience! They were professional, knew what they were doing & cleaned up everything nicely! We've already recommended them to others and would use them again in the future!
