Top-Rated Tree Removal & Trimming Services in Monona, WI

We needed some trees cut down in our backyard, so we called around a few places to check on prices. Maplewood was extremely reasonable and by far, the BEST price we were quoted. (We actually called Maplewood in the first place because we saw their fantastic reviews!) Jeremy was straightforward, so personable and down to earth, he explained in detail everything the job entailed, and communicated with us the entire way. A really cool guy to work with. We were hopeful Maplewood would do a good job and were not in the least disappointed! So glad we chose them!! The crew's work was incredible. They ground down some stumps (can't even tell they were there!), removed all of the brush, our yard looks great, and we couldn't be more pleased. They are truly a diligent, honest, and professional group of people who perform awesome work. In this day and age, it's great to know that genuine companies like Maplewood exist.

Customer service is the biggest problem with tree service in Madison, and Evan at urban tree management is the only owner who seems to get that. When I was interested in non-urgent tree removal, he still got back to me in less than 24 hours, and was available for the project within a week or two. When our recent storm hit and I had several large downed limbs on my property (and house), he was here by 9 AM the next day! He's nice, reasonably priced (which these days is still a lot imo), and does a great job.

Amazing service start to finish -- I had a HUGE tree down in my yard from a recent storm that crossed several neighbors' lawns -- Andy came right out, gave us (neighbors) a very competitive bid and was able to schedule the work right away. The crew came on-time, worked very diligently throughout the day -- I had asked them to pay particular care of my perennials and shrubs and they REALLY did -- very minimal damage and they put everything back before they left, including yard decor!!! It was like they weren't even there which was amazing considering the size of the tree. REALLY nice, conscientious team -- SUPER impressed. Will use again and recommend to everyone I know!

We had ECO Tree do a complete review of our 1/2 acre residence which supports many maturing maples, white pines, birch, yews, and cedars. Their team performed much needed pruning, installed a couple of limb split cables, and overall made our ragged collection of trees look beautiful. They asked questions (how high do you want the canopy... ) and gave advice (we are not cutting that limb because... ). They spotted diseased trees and recommended treatments. The team working on our site were very professional and completely cleaned up after the project. I am very impressed as we have used other companies over the years but ECO Tree was by far the most knowledgeable and efficient. It was not cheap, but we are totally satisfied with the value and outcome.

The work Heartwood Tree Company does is outstanding, professional and based on expert knowledge. They has cared for our trees and shrubs for a number of years and we have been totally pleased each time. It is also fun to watch them go high into the big trees like acrobats. They are very good, clean up afterwards, and don't need any heavy equipment to reach high trees because of the way they can get high up via ropes, pulleys, and individual agility/ strength.
